Shipping, Cancellation and Return Policy
This website offers digital greeting cards for sale. The full proceeds from sales are donated to Leket Israel. Purchasing on the website constitutes agreement to this policy.
Shipping Policy (Delivery)
- The greeting cards sold on the website are digital only (Ecards) and do not include physical shipping, except for printed Purim greeting cards, should they be offered on the website.
- Once you have completed the purchase, the greeting card will be sent to the email address you provided during the purchase and/or will be available for immediate download, depending on the website’s functionality.
- Delivery generally occurs immediately, unless the purchaser has requested delivery at a later date; however, technical delays beyond the website’s control may occur.
- It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that the contact details and delivery address entered are correct and up to date.
Cancellation and Return Policy
- The consumer does not have the right to cancel the transaction or receive a refund, except as required by law.
- The purchase on the website is made via a digital card (“Ecard”), but in fact, this is a donation to the Leket Israel organization. The donation is made within the framework of creating and sending the greeting card. The provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, do not apply to donations and do not grant the purchaser of the greeting card a right to cancel the transaction or receive a cash refund, except as required by law.
- Without derogating from the above, the digital greeting card constitutes “information” as defined in the Computers Law, 5755-1995; therefore, it is not included in transactions for which a right of cancellation exists under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981.
- Furthermore, the creation and sending of a digital greeting card constitute a one-time service. The service commences with the creation of the card and the purchaser’s completion of the order. Accordingly, and in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, the consumer does not have a right to cancel the transaction or receive a refund in relation to this service, Except as required by law.
Cancellation and Returns Policy – Printed Purim Greeting Cards
- Purchases made on the website are carried out through a digital greeting card; however, this constitutes a donation to the Leket Israel organization. The donation is made as part of the creation and delivery of the greeting card. The provisions of the Israeli Consumer Protection Law – 1981, do not apply to donations and do not grant the purchaser the right to cancel the transaction or receive a refund, except as required by law.
- The website and/or the organization are not responsible for delivery delays caused by the shipping company and/or factors beyond their control; however, reasonable efforts will be made to assist in locating the shipment.
- The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and contact details entered at the time of purchase are accurate and up to date. The organization shall not be responsible for any errors in delivery details provided by the purchaser.
- In the event of a defective product and/or a printing error originating from the website and/or the printing supplier, the purchaser may contact the organization’s representatives within two (2) business days from the date of receipt of the product, along with appropriate documentation from the date of purchase, via: https://gift.leket.org/contact-us/. Each request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The organization does not undertake to provide a replacement product.
Exceptions
- In the event of a proven technical fault that prevented receipt of the card (where no alternative was provided), customer service may be contacted within 2 business days from the date of purchase at https://gift.leket.org/contact-us/, and the inquiry will be examined on its merits.
- The website reserves the right to offer an alternative solution (such as resending the card), but not a cash refund, except as required by law.
